We may collect your name, email address, mobile number, account information, selected driving test centres, driving test swap information and notification preferences.
To verify that users are genuine driving instructors, we may also request a photograph of your ADI or PDI badge during registration.
Once verified, your ADI number may be recorded against your account for administrative and fraud-prevention purposes.
We use your information to provide the ADI Buddy service, manage accounts, facilitate test swaps, send account-related communications, verify instructor status and improve the platform.
ADI or PDI badge photographs are used solely for verification purposes to confirm that registrants are legitimate driving instructors or trainee instructors.
We do not sell personal information.
Your name, mobile number and notification preferences may be visible to other registered users where necessary to arrange driving test swaps.
Email addresses, pupil names, ADI/PDI numbers and verification documents are not displayed to other users.
We retain account information while your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
ADI or PDI badge photographs uploaded for verification are reviewed manually and deleted once verification has been completed. These images are not retained as part of your permanent account record.
Your ADI/PDI number may be retained for as long as your account remains active to help maintain the integrity and security of the platform.
You may request deletion of your ADI Buddy account at any time by emailing support@adibuddy.co.uk from the email address registered on your account.
Requests sent from a different email address cannot be processed as we are unable to verify account ownership.
Upon deletion, your account details, contact preferences and personal information will be removed. Any test swaps you have posted will also be deleted.
To protect the platform against automated attacks, abuse and unauthorised access attempts, ADI Buddy records and monitors login, registration and password reset activity.
Where repeated failed or suspicious requests are detected, your IP address, email address and the nature of the request may be logged temporarily. This information is used solely for security and fraud-prevention purposes and is not shared with third parties.
Rate limiting logs are retained for administrative review and deleted periodically once no longer needed for security purposes.
